The Flameproof Single Junction Box, also known as the Ex d Single-Way Junction Box, is a rugged and safety-engineered junction box that facilitates secure connection among electrical circuits in hazardous locations where there might be the presence of flammable or combustible gases and vapors, or other combustible dusts. The Ex d Single Junction Box houses any possible internal explosion or spark and prevents the igniting of an external dangerous atmosphere, thus becoming a safe and sound option.

The junction box is manufactured using high-grade cast aluminium alloy LM6 or stainless steel, which provides it high mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and long working life. The junction box is designed and tested to IS/IEC 60079-1 standards and is suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (Gas groups IIA, IIB, & IIC) and Zone 21 & 22 (Dust).
